Emberfall Chronicle
★★★★★ 4.7
Emberfall Chronicle is the kind of RPG I hoped more phones would get. It's turn-based, so every fight is a small puzzle rather than a thumb cramp, and the whole campaign lives on your device with nothing to download mid-quest. You build a party of four, each with their own skill tree, and the choices actually matter by the late chapters.
The writing is better than it needs to be. Side quests have endings that stick, and a couple of companion stories made me pause before tapping through. Combat stays fresh because enemies force you to rethink your line-up rather than repeat one combo forever.
It's a long game, easily thirty hours, and it respects your time with generous save points. A great pick for a flight or a quiet weekend.
What we liked
- Deep turn-based combat
- Real character progression and skill trees
- Zero online requirement, full save freedom
